Job Description

Job Title: Linux Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Administrator to join our team at KPMG. As a Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and management of our Linux servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain Linux servers, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement Linux standards based on CIS recommendations, focusing on technical implementation.
  • Take ownership of projects from design to development and deployment.
  • Support various organizational and operational areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Linux system administration in complex IT environments.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Linux operating system, scripting languages, and automation of repetitive tasks and processes.
  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC, LFCS) are desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
