We are in search of an ICT System Administrator who possesses several years of experience in a comparable position, excels in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to learn and develop alongside the global Chapman Freeborn Airchartering team.
Role Objectives
To support the Head of ICT in ensuring that a robust IT service is delivered globally by assisting all users and maintaining a healthy IT infrastructure To proactively create and execute ICT Infrastructure strategies aligned with corporate strategic objectives and the directives of the Avia Solutions Group (ASG) To recommend and implement enhancements to the ICT infrastructure on a global scale Overseeing, installing, upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining the server infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud Conducting daily system checks, ensuring the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and confirming the completion of scheduled tasks such as backups Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation on all systems, procedures, solutions, projects, and issues Evaluating, installing, testing, and configuring new software and hardware Responsible for security compliance, backup, and other operational areas Engaging in new ICT projects to support CFG and ASG requirements, with a readiness to quickly acquire additional technical knowledge as necessary. Managing an Active Directory multi-site infrastructure Supporting and enhancing our office network infrastructure Contributing to the documentation of ICT policies and processes Identifying and proposing ICT process improvements within the Chapman Freeborn group to ensure optimal utilization of ICT systems. Recommending and/or executing upgrades on systems to ensure longevity. Assisting in the maintenance of LAN/WAN networks and telephone systems. Responding to technical issues in a professional and timely manner Identifying top cloud architecture solutions to effectively meet the strategic needs of the company in alignment with ASG Managing instances of cloud (SaaS) infrastructure services and multiple cloud vendors Designing and implementing on-premises infrastructure to meet business needs related to storage, networking, etc. Providing training, guidance, and technical support to the Group ICT Team and assisting the technical support team with daily service tickets Identifying and proposing ICT process, infrastructure, and security enhancements within the Chapman Freeborn group to ensure optimal use of secure ICT systems Being aware of and adhering to company policies. Staying updated with industry changes, procedures, and requirements related to the job role. Participating in a rotating 24/7 out-of-hours duty rota within the ICT team.
Desired Qualities
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field or a related area The candidate should possess strong technical design, implementation, support, administration, and troubleshooting skills in at least two of the following technologies and be trained to MCITP / MCSE / VCP Level Experienced in (technical) documentation Project Management
Required Technical Skills:
Active Directory (current versions): group policy, DHCP, DHCP failover, security, replication, and backup Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer preferred - experience with Active Directory Federation Services Experience in architecting, designing, and troubleshooting MS Active Directory in a large-scale multi-site environment Experience in MDM solutions, preferably Microsoft Intune, including direct experience with Autopilot, application deployment and updates, patching, Windows 10/11 administration, iOS and Android mobile phone administration, and other supporting technologies, Windows Hello configuration, End Point Security, and Compliance Proficiency in PowerShell and PowerShell scripting Microsoft Azure (Multiple Subscriptions, key vaults, enterprise apps / SSO Configuration, security, VPN, vNets, vServers, Storage, Azure automation, Reporting, Privileged Identity Management (PIM) + Access Reviews, Traffic manager, RBAC, Update Management (Server Patching), Log Analytics, Conditional Access, Cost analysis, and Reporting AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert qualification would be beneficial Firewall and Network Security Microsoft 365 (General Management, Licensing (Using Groups) and License Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Online Microsoft Teams and SharePoint (Management and Configuration) Microsoft Network Device Enrollment Service (NDES) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Auditing Tools (Netwrix) Cyber Security Solutions (Palo Alto, Cloudflare, Darktrace, Cybereason)
