Renewable Energy Sales Specialist

About the Role:

KACO New Energy GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Spain. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue in the assigned territory, working closely with distributors, installers, and project developers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including C-Level executives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, product management, offer management, and marketing to ensure seamless customer support
  • Manage contracts, including negotiation, tracking, and renewal
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate customer performance
  • Provide regular sales reports and insights to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the solar photovoltaic industry, preferably with solar/hybrid inverters
  • Proven track record of success in sales, key account management, and product management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Fluency in Spanish, with a strong command of English; German is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Residence in Spain
