Senior Business Development Manager in Energy Sector

An exciting opportunity awaits for a Senior Business Development Manager to join a well-established and expanding company in the Energy Trading Platform sector.

To bolster their growth, the organization seeks a technically proficient Sales Manager who will report directly to the CEO, utilizing both direct sales and strategic partnerships to enhance their leadership position within the Energy Trading Platform market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives aimed at broadening the company's client portfolio throughout Germany.
  • Foster and maintain enduring client relationships through effective collaboration.
  • Achieve sales growth and meet established targets.
  • Design and implement innovative sales strategies and programs.
  • Continuously assess and refine pricing strategies, service offerings, and legal sales frameworks.
  • Negotiate agreements with customers and partners.
  • Develop and maintain robust sales control measures.
  • Oversee the management of the CRM platform, specifically HubSpot.
  • Implement and assess marketing strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in enterprise sales.
  • Capability to review and negotiate technical contracts.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with excellent presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in start-up or scale-up environments.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms.
  • Background in the energy transition sector, particularly in power production or trading.
  • Experience in selling technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software.
  • Willingness to travel and work across various time zones.
  • Technical degree.
