Senior SiC Process Integration Specialist

What to Expect:
  • Process Development & Transfer: Spearhead the advancement and transition of innovative SiC power technologies to initial production and scaling.
  • Process Qualification: Formulate and validate new and derivative methodologies for SiC discrete power technologies.
  • Process Parameters: Recognize and oversee critical process parameters, correlating device performance with process characteristics for SiC MOSFETs and diodes.
  • Project & Team Leadership: Direct projects and interdisciplinary teams to enhance process integration, assess and define best-known methods (BKM), and establish process specifications to fulfill device requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Employ comprehensive data analysis from wafer parametric testing, process control monitoring structures, and in-line process control to link process and device characteristics, collaborating closely with the design team.
  • Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Diagnose root causes and delineate sustainable corrective measures in instances of process deviations or reliability failures, while promoting continuous improvement initiatives to boost stability, yield, reliability, and production costs of existing technologies.
  • Technology Introduction: Explore and implement new SiC processes, process modules, and technology roadmaps to support new device manufacturing platforms, while assessing SiC manufacturing equipment, materials, experiments, and methodologies.
  • Interface Management: Serve as the liaison for all process-related matters between production, quality assurance, technology/product development, and backend operations.
  • Research Collaboration: Partner with internal and external research entities for the introduction and enhancement of new SiC processes.
What You Bring Along:
  • Academic Qualification: Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Semiconductor Technology, Microsystems Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: More than 10 years of experience in SiC processing, ideally within SiC wafer fabrication.
  • Expertise: Profound working knowledge of semiconductor device physics and process integration; particularly strong understanding of SiC power devices, especially MOSFETs and diodes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled in technical problem-solving techniques and the application of methods and tools for evaluation and data analysis.
  • Experimental Skills: Capable of designing, executing, and interpreting process experiments with precision; demonstrated success in leading impactful projects.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in English. Additional fluency in German and/or Chinese is advantageous.
  • Working Style: Strategic thinker with a well-organized and autonomous working approach.
  • Teamwork: Effective collaborator with strong leadership skills in a diverse environment.
  • Motivation: Proactive attitude and readiness to venture beyond comfort zones to achieve significant milestones.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to undertake international business travel or delegations.
