As a Lead Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin) within our organization, your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Partnering with interdisciplinary teams to improve the scalability, dependability, and security of our international banking infrastructure
  • Crafting RESTful APIs and building robust event-driven architectures
  • Collaborating with global teams to tackle challenges and prototype innovative solutions
  • Involvement in the selection of tools, technologies, and methodologies, while guiding junior developers
  • Serving as a subject matter authority in product discussions and backend strategy
  • Raising engineering standards through mentorship and promoting a cooperative environment
To thrive in this position, you should possess:
  • A solid foundation as a Lead Backend Developer, proficient in Java and Kotlin
  • Experience in software architecture, system design, and a good understanding of DevOps methodologies
  • Expertise in working with SQL databases, contemporary cloud solutions, and monitoring systems
  • A talent for producing clear, concise, and testable code
