We are collaborating with a prominent firm in the Insurance and Reinsurance sector that specializes in delivering innovative products and solutions across reinsurance, life insurance, and retirement services.
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Compliance Oversight Manager to enhance their team in Frankfurt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) with various compliance-related tasks and initiatives.
- Performing and documenting annual assessments of AML/CFT risks.
- Conducting daily reviews and resolutions of sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) alerts.
- Regularly updating and revising relevant policies and procedures to align with both external regulations and internal audits.
- Evaluating significant legal developments and their implications.
- Investigating potential breaches of AML/CFT regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in AML/CFT compliance roles.
- ACAMS certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
