As a rapidly expanding industry leader, Lumino is actively seeking to enter the German market. We are searching for a visionary Managing Director to spearhead this exciting venture and drive our growth in this key region.
Your Role: Cannabis Market Leader - Germany
The Managing Director (MD) will serve as a pivotal senior executive responsible for shaping Lumino's strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial success in Germany. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, strict adherence to regulatory standards, and achievement of ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive Go-to-Market Strategy tailored for the German market.
- Execute on the launch of our innovative cannabis therapies and services in Germany.
- Provide oversight and guidance to clinicians and clinical leads specializing in relevant fields.
- Craft and implement strategic plans to drive sustainable growth and expansion within the German market.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand service offerings to meet evolving patient needs.
- Align strategic objectives with industry trends and market demands, ensuring Lumino remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Collaborate seamlessly across departments, including regulatory affairs, product development, partnerships, and commercial teams, to optimize patient outcomes and integrate clinical development programs.
- Leverage expertise from global teams in established markets to bring resources and best practices to support the German market launch and expansion.
- Contribute to technology platform development and engage in commercial discussions with partners to cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders within the German medical cannabis landscape.
- Review and provide final approval for all external-facing materials, including website content and press releases, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving medical cannabis landscape in Germany and globally, both for commercial and regulatory purposes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure safe and effective service delivery within the German market.
- Participate in marketing and public relations activities as approved by your direct supervisor.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented leader with a proven track record of success in the cannabis industry or related sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant industries, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, demonstrating expertise in medical team management.
- Previous experience in healthcare, B2B, D2C, or related industries and business models, encompassing digital marketing, technology/product development, customer retention strategies, data analysis, and fulfillment operations.
- In-depth knowledge of German Medical Cannabis regulations is a significant advantage.
- A demonstrable history of driving substantial revenue growth and a deep understanding of the requirements for a high-growth business are essential.
- Highly analytical and commercially astute with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with experience as a public speaker/presenter.
