About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Solutions Consultant to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our product team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the digitalization of Master Data Management globally.

Responsibilities

  • Define and setup effective and efficient processes for substance master data maintenance.
  • Act as a contact person for business and IT solutions related questions.
  • Work closely with the Process Owner and the DevOps team to implement new solutions.
  • Support the development, design, and concept of a new substance master data model in SAP S/4 and supporting tools.
  • Consult on the usage of EHS and understand differences of SAP R3/S4 and current applications.
  • Support the creation and updates of Rules & Guidelines documents.
  • Provide consultation on KPIs as per BASF's own methodology.
  • Offer consultancy to Operational Divisions, Service Units, and Project Management on new requirements regarding global substance master.

Qualifications

  • Degree in chemistry, business informatics, administration, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with EHS/substance master data and related supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in at least one SAP solution handling substance master data.
  • Good skills in standard SAP customizing possibilities of substance master.
  • Experience in project management and agile working.
  • Strong analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities.
  • Very good English skills, German language skills are a plus.
