About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Solutions Expert to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the digitalization of Master Data Management globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and setup effective and efficient processes for substance master data maintenance
  • Act as a contact person for business and IT solutions related questions
  • Work closely with the Process Owner and the DevOps team to implement new solutions
  • Support the development, design, and concept of a new substance master data model
  • Consult on the usage of EHS and understand differences of SAP R3/S4 and current applications
  • Support the creation and updates of Rules & Guidelines documents
  • Provide consultation on KPIs as per BASF's own methodology
  • Offer consultancy to Operational Divisions, Service Units, and Project Management on new requirements regarding global substance master
Requirements
  • degree in chemistry, business informatics, administration, or a comparable field
  • minimum of 5 years experience with EHS/substance master data and related supply chain processes
  • proficiency in at least one SAP solution handling substance master data
  • good skills in standard SAP customizing possibilities of substance master
  • experience in project management and agile working
  • strong analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities
  • very good English skills, German language skills are a plus
