About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Solutions Consultant to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the digitalization of Master Data Management globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement effective processes for substance master data maintenance
  • Collaborate with the Process Owner and DevOps team to implement new solutions
  • Support the development of a new substance master data model for SAP S/4 and supporting tools
  • Consult on the usage of EHS and SAP R3/S4
  • Provide consultation on KPIs and data quality activities
  • Offer consultancy to Operational Divisions, Service Units, and Project Management on new requirements regarding global substance master
Requirements
  • degree in chemistry, business informatics, administration, or a comparable field
  • minimum of 5 years experience with EHS/substance master data and related supply chain processes
  • proficiency in at least one SAP solution handling substance master data
  • good skills in standard SAP customizing possibilities of substance master, familiarity with non-SAP solutions handling substance master data is a plus
  • experience in project management and agile working
  • strong analytical thinking and stakeholder management skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities
  • very good English skills, German language skills are a plus
