About the Role

The Senior Business Process Expert SAP Engineering Finance is a key member of the Competence Centre Finance and Controlling at Fresenius Medical Care. In this role, you will provide critical support for the roll-out of SAP-based templates in the EMEALA/AP/NA regions, focusing on Finance and Controlling processes, structures, and settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Enhance and improve projects in the area of Finance, ensuring alignment with business unit needs and international accounting standards.
  • Support the set-up of processes for the Centre of Excellence Finance & Controlling, particularly in areas such as General Ledger, Bank & Treasury, Tax, and Assets.
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact for inSITE projects and other assigned projects, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Prepare and conduct training on system functionalities, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
  • Analyze deviations, prepare documentation for solutions, and support with solution design, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
  • Prepare and support test execution, migration activities, and cutover activities, ensuring smooth deployments and go-live/hypercare periods.
  • Provide support to live countries, investigating issues, and providing posting logic, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain structures and sets in the system, ensuring alignment with requirements and best practices.
  • Manage other projects and project teams in the area of Finance, ensuring effective project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in IT, operational finance, accounting, or controlling.
  • 8-10 years of experience in using SAP finance and controlling modules, with a solid understanding of basic finance concepts.
  • S/4Hana knowledge required.
  • Good knowledge of working on international ERP projects.
  • Understanding of cross-domain and cross-functional processes (End-to-End).
  • Understanding and sound knowledge of SAP FI CO Modules.
  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards for group companies (IFRS).

Additional Requirements
