PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Senior Finance Solutions Director will oversee a multifaceted team dedicated to enhancing the strategic vision for Global Finance applications, ensuring excellence in finance business processes, program execution, and the deployment of financial systems such as FiCo, tax, treasury, insurance, and travel expense management systems (Concur). This role is essential in advancing finance process optimization and systems, guaranteeing the successful execution of IT initiatives, and maximizing IT services on a global scale. The ideal candidate will possess a profound comprehension of finance process management and applications, coupled with a strong commitment to continuous improvement by guiding cross-functional teams toward achieving strategic objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide visionary leadership to the team, cultivating a culture of innovation and ongoing enhancement. Formulate and implement strategies to refine finance processes, improve service delivery, and ensure alignment with the organization's global IT goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and execute the department's objectives and targets. Team Management:
Direct and manage the global enterprise solutions finance team, the travel and expense application team, and the team responsible for SAP IT Audit, internal controls, and compliance. Lead a team of IT professionals tasked with designing, developing, and deploying solutions. Promote a culture of technical innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT team. Set clear objectives, provide technical direction, and conduct regular performance assessments to ensure high-quality outcomes. Mentor and nurture team members, encouraging professional development and skill enhancement. Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in organizational change management, guiding teams through transitions.IT Delivery & Solution Implementation:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects aimed at optimizing finance processes and systems, including support for the deployment of CFIN and S4 HANA. Supervise the development and implementation of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical specifications, project scope, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate technical risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful implementation and integration. Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.Service Management:
Partner with leaders on SAP service management and support for daily business sustainability, managing external vendors to deliver solutions for incident management, problem resolution, root cause analysis, service requests, and other production support. Establish best practices, release management, and an intake process, along with any other necessary processes for consistent and optimized service delivery. Monitor and report on service delivery performance metrics, taking corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including business units, regional IT teams, and external partners, to understand needs and deliver solutions that provide value. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on progress, challenges, and achievements.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position may require occasional travel.EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business informatics, Computer Science, Information-oriented Business Administration/Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable field.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Over 10 years in senior process and technology roles collaborating with technology development teams, delivering and building end-to-end process capabilities. Over 10 years in senior engineering and technology roles working with platform/product development teams, delivering and building platforms. Over 10 years in the delivery of business transformation and technology programs, with leadership experience, project lead, and functional or disciplinary management responsibilities. Leadership: Inspire and motivate the team, make informed decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
