Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide essential support to the sales team, focusing on maximizing sales, reporting, and promotional activities with key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including sales data analysis, forecasting, stock control liaison, and order tracking.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for buying assistants of key accounts, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of quotes and specification forms as per customer deadlines.
  • Assist the account team in planning, booking, and monitoring promotional activities, documenting all details in Sales Force.
  • Prepare for customer meetings and previews in a timely manner.

Core Tasks:

  • Sales Assistance: Provide necessary information and support to Buying Assistants and Senior Buyers, resolving queries as needed. Keep Buying Assistants informed of relevant marketing opportunities.
  • Stock Management: Act as a communication link between Stock Control and the Sales Team, following up on orders as required.
  • Meeting Preparation: Organize agendas, sales data, stock levels, and presentations for internal and external meetings, ensuring detailed minutes and action plans are recorded.
  • Forecasting: Compile seasonal forecast sheets and assist with forecasting efforts, analyzing sales data to support planned intakes.
  • Product Selections: Generate domestic quotes, gathering dimensions, images, and pricing for customers as needed.
Collaboration:

  • Work with marketing to ensure timely delivery of stock, mock-ups, images, and samples to customers.
  • Support the account team with planning and executing customer-specific promotional activities, tracking invoicing in Sales Force.
Reporting:

  • Analyze promotional activities in stores and recommend actions to optimize opportunities.
  • Stay informed about retail product pricing and communicate relevant information to the marketing team.
  • Monitor product placement and suggest future ordering strategies to the Sales Team.
  • Act as a contact point for the sales team during their absence.
  • Organize trade fairs or customer buying events as needed.
  • Perform basic administrative and office management tasks, including managing the showroom and storage room.
  • Undertake any additional duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education of A' Level standard.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the CPG or Toy industry is preferred.
  • Retail experience at store level or in retail planning is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP, and Sales Force (or similar CRM tools).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations and analyze POS reports.
  • A full clean driving license and fluency in English and German.
