Head of Cost Management and Value Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Cost Management and Value Engineering to join our team at H-TEC Systems GmbH. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for achieving target costs for our electrolyzer products through interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Product Cost and Value Engineering team
- Define target costs for components and modules and drive cost-down potentials from idea to implementation
- Act as an internal consultant for optimizing product costs within design, manufacturing, and supplier negotiations
- Develop and implement processes and tools within the department
- Completed studies in engineering, business administration, or a comparable field
- Professional experience in product cost management, value engineering, or a comparable position
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Sound knowledge in value analysis and cost calculation
- Strong analytical mindset and structured, results-oriented work approach
- Sound IT skills, including MS Office, databases, and ERP systems
- Very good written and spoken English skills, ideally also German
