POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager, Strategic Projects (m/f/d) is an integral member of the Commercial Excellence Team within the Strategy & Operations division at BMS Germany. This role is crucial for overseeing priority initiatives and managing the strategic project portfolio, serving as the primary contact for project management excellence and its ongoing development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership of Strategic Projects
Direct and oversee cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution Align project scope and objectives with overarching business goals Maintain effective communication and reporting mechanisms Implement risk management strategies and ensure quality assurance for deliverables Manage resources effectivelyManagement of Project Portfolio
Develop and sustain transparency regarding BMS Germany's strategic project portfolio Facilitate prioritization of projects and initiatives Collaborate on the development and maintenance of the Commercial Excellence capability roadmapCenter of Excellence for Project Management
Oversee the central hub for project management excellence and associated resources Continuously enhance project management capabilities and methodologies within the organization, including sharing best practices and tools Act as a consultant for teams regarding project management standardsQualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced project management and portfolio management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors Proven experience in engaging stakeholders, including senior management, at both local and global levels Background in strategic consulting is advantageous Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and OKRs is a plusPersonal Attributes:
Proficient in managing complex and ambiguous projects in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills across various organizational levels Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams Advanced strategic, analytical, and logical reasoning skills Eagerness to learn and grow professionally Proficient in advanced project management software (e.g., MS Projects, JIRA, Asana) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and EnglishWhat We Offer:
