ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Senior Manager, Strategic Projects (m/f/d) is an integral member of the Commercial Excellence Team within the Strategy & Operations division at BMS Germany. This position is crucial for spearheading key initiatives that align with our strategic goals. The role encompasses managing a portfolio of strategic projects and serves as the primary contact for project management best practices and ongoing development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Leadership and Management

Oversee and guide cross-functional teams to ensure project success Align project objectives with overarching business strategies Maintain clear communication and reporting structures Implement risk management and quality assurance protocols for deliverables Manage resources effectively

Portfolio Management and Oversight

Develop and sustain visibility into BMS Germany's strategic project portfolio Facilitate prioritization of projects and initiatives Collaborate on the development and maintenance of the Commercial Excellence capability roadmap

Hub for Project Management Excellence

Oversee the central project management excellence hub and its resources Continuously improve project management capabilities and methodologies within the organization, including sharing best practices and tools Act as a consultant for teams on project management standards

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced project management and portfolio management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors Proven experience in engaging stakeholders, including senior management at both local and global levels Background in strategic consulting is advantageous Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and OKRs is a plus
