ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager, Strategic Projects (m/f/d) is an integral member of the Commercial Excellence Team within the Strategy & Operations division at BMS Germany. This position is pivotal in steering high-priority initiatives and managing the strategic project portfolio, serving as the primary contact for project management best practices and ongoing development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Leadership and Management
Direct and oversee cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes Align project objectives with overarching business goals Maintain clear communication and focused reporting Implement risk management strategies and ensure quality of project deliverables Manage resources effectivelyPortfolio Management and Oversight
Develop and uphold transparency regarding BMS Germany's strategic project portfolio Facilitate prioritization of projects and initiatives Collaborate on the development and maintenance of the Commercial Excellence capability roadmapHub for Project Management Excellence
Oversee the central project management excellence hub and its resources Continuously enhance project management practices and methodologies within the organization Act as a consultant for teams on project management standardsQualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced project management and portfolio management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors Proven experience in engaging stakeholders, including senior management, at both local and global levels Background in strategic consulting is advantageous Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and OKRs is a plusPersonal Attributes:
