Maritime Programme Director

Riedel Communications is a leading provider of live production tools in media, sports, and entertainment. Our Managed Technology division specializes in renting out audio, video, IT, and communication solutions for international live events, offering comprehensive services from project planning to on-site implementation.
We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Programme Director (Maritime) to strengthen our Project Management team.
Your Responsibilities- Lead the operational planning, organization, and execution of maritime events and competitions in close collaboration with our specialist departments, considering all technological and commercial aspects.
- Provide support and advice to customers as the primary point of contact, ensuring adherence to budget, time constraints, workload, and scope.
- Develop major single events and series by expanding and enhancing our services for customers in collaboration with our sales team.
- Contribute innovative ideas and improvements to continuously expand our service portfolio and quality in partnership with our development teams.
- Monitor the operational implementation and prepare reports and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Lead by example, taking overall responsibility for the on-site project team and coordinating external staff and service providers.
- Collaborate with other programme directors on synergies and administrative/organizational matters.
- Ensure a high level of quality within the team and towards all stakeholders.
- Successful completion of an industry-specific apprenticeship, university degree, or comparable relevant professional experience.
- Technical background in media, industrial engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Several years of professional experience as a programme manager with overall responsibility in the event industry within an international environment, including live broadcast experience and on-air responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to build and manage relationships effectively, both internally and externally.
- Good knowledge of methodological techniques for project planning and management.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Willingness to travel for events and competitions.
