Job Description

Job Title: Programme Director - Maritime Competitions

Job Summary:

Riedel Communications is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead the operational planning, organisation, and execution of events and competitions in the maritime sector. The successful candidate will work closely with our specialist departments to ensure seamless delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational plans for events and competitions in the maritime sector
  • Collaborate with our specialist departments to ensure effective delivery of our services
  • Support and advise customers on their needs and requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Contribute to the development of new services and solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Industry-specific successfully completed apprenticeship, a university degree, or comparable relevant professional experience
  • Technical background in media, industrial engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Several years of professional experience as a programme manager with overall responsibility in the event industry within an international environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to build and manage relationships effectively
  • Good knowledge of methodological techniques for project planning and management
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently internationally
