Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with principal investigators and senior research team members to facilitate the recruitment and selection of study participants, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria.
  • Engage with study participants to obtain informed consent, adhering to institutional policies and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and conduct study-related procedures and assessments, prioritizing patient safety and protocol adherence in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Support the management and coordination of patient care across various settings, including outpatient and inpatient environments, while effectively triaging patient inquiries and managing symptoms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all study-related activities, including medical data, in accordance with protocol and sponsor requirements.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments with study participants, providing clinical and administrative support to research coordinators and nurses.
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols by reviewing regulatory requirements and implementing appropriate practices for all research activities.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on assigned clinical trials, updating the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) with relevant patient information and timelines.
  • Document and report any serious adverse events in accordance with institutional policies, acting as a liaison with hospital staff and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate actively in meetings, committees, and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, along with BLS certification and a valid RN license.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • At least five years of experience in clinical research is preferred.
  • One year of experience in oncology or cellular medicine is preferred.
  • Strong candidates will possess experience in inpatient or intensive care settings, along with SOCRA or ACRP certification, and ONS certification.
  • Proficient knowledge of clinical research processes and GCP, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $66,000 and $126,720.23, influenced by individual qualifications, experience, and the university's operational needs.
