About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at medmix. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with import, export, and supply chain regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant trade regulations, including customs, export controls, and sanctions management.
  • Provide guidance and direction to sales organizations on trade compliance matters.
  • Develop and implement trade compliance programs and customs projects.
  • Manage digital due diligence and screening tools.
  • Plan and implement strategic and complex projects, including change management.
Requirements
  • Masters's degree in Customs, Taxation, and International Trade Law, Economics, or a related field.
  • Several years of trade compliance experience in a fast-paced industry operating globally.
  • Deep knowledge of export control and customs rules and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of import/export regulations, including HS, HTS, ECCN classification, product origin, customs valuation, and Free Trade Agreements.
  • Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field/equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in regulated industries, particularly life science or medical devices.
  • SAP user experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
