Senior Manager Customs and Trade

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at KPMG as a Senior Manager in Customs and Trade. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consulting services on customs, foreign trade, and export control to national and international clients.

  • Develop and implement Compliance Management Systems in customs and export control to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide expert advice on efficient organizational structures to optimize business performance.
  • Handle complex corporate separations and mergers, ensuring compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations.
  • Conduct thorough customs audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with KPMG Law to support clients in legal proceedings.
  • Engage in business development activities, including presentations and publications, to drive growth and innovation.

Your Profile

  • Hold a degree in Finance, Economics, or Law with a focus on European Business Law, International Law, or Tax Law.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in customs, industry, or consulting.
  • Expertise in customs, foreign trade, and export control laws.
  • Previous team management experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Strong team and client orientation with a knack for business development.
  • Willingness to travel.
