Training & Development (T&D) Team Coordinator

Our Human Resources Division, situated in various international locations, is seeking a motivated and proactive Training & Development (T&D) Team Coordinator for our office operations.

In this position, you will strategize and facilitate educational programs for the personnel of our fleet. Additionally, the T&D Team Coordinator assesses educational requirements for our staff by addressing training inquiries from within the organization or by proactively identifying training necessities. If necessary, the T&D Team Coordinator collaborates with subject matter experts or educational providers to tailor training solutions effectively.

Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of dynamic tasks, including but not limited to:

Coordinating training sessions globally as well as through virtual platforms. Developing training frameworks for upcoming initiatives. Advising and reviewing new educational prerequisites.

Engaging with Educational Providers and fleet members is essential to foster stronger partnerships with vendors and staff, as well as to negotiate or evaluate a Training Facility.

A well-prepared workforce contributes to a safer operational environment for all.

Your responsibilities

Schedule and arrange training sessions and manage related logistics for specific vessels. Ensure all personnel training certifications are current and valid. Serve as the primary contact for all training-related inquiries. Design educational programs in collaboration with internal and external specialists. Assess the training needs of the personnel in conjunction with management. Solicit feedback from staff on completed training sessions and conduct evaluations. Travel to your assigned vessels globally to nurture positive relationships. Visit educational providers worldwide to establish robust partnerships and uphold quality standards. Assist the administrative team in managing personnel certification documentation.

What we anticipate from you

Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational training is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Experience in planning is advantageous. Background in T&D or maritime operations is not mandatory. Openness to travel. Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
