Senior AI and Analytics Leader

Your Role

Facilitate and assist the head of RDAC in the transformation strategy driven by AI and analytics within Life & Health, ensuring alignment across various functional streams such as data governance, biometrics, AI/analytics, and the foundational infrastructure and systems. Develop and implement region-wide methodologies and prioritization frameworks for AI and analytics projects and strategic investments. Design and propose regionally relevant AI and knowledge products and services for both internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire value chain. Transform insights into value creation by identifying opportunities for risk assessment, enhancing existing reinsurance offerings, and innovating new products, while serving as a liaison for internal and external clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, providing training and support to staff on best practices in AI and analytics. Establish and uphold comprehensive governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for AI and analytics to ensure quality, security, and compliance with industry standards. Organize operational tasks, allocate resources, guide functional teams, coordinate processes, and manage projects to ensure scalability.

Your Qualifications

Advanced degree in computer science, business administration, mathematics, or a related scientific field. Profound understanding of (re)insurance business operations and the capability to translate AI technologies into tangible business value. Significant experience in AI, machine learning, data analytics, and their application within the Life and Health sector. Proven project and team leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and steering strategic initiatives, preferably in a technology or data-centric role. Strong project management abilities with a track record of leading complex AI projects from ideation to implementation. Capacity to prioritize corporate initiatives based on their business impact, feasibility, and resource availability. Adaptability and a curious, innovative mindset, with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously. Familiarity with data privacy and AI regulatory frameworks pertinent to the (re)insurance sector. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
