We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Science and AI Consultant to join our team at Alexander Thamm GmbH, a leading provider of data-driven solutions and artificial intelligence in the German-speaking region. As a Senior Data Science and AI Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks for data and artificial intelligence in the financial sector.
Your Key Responsibilities- Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments in data and AI in the financial sector and maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to interpret and implement regulatory changes for AI initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with customer goals.
- Guide technical teams in the development and implementation of AI algorithms and models, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that AI systems are designed and implemented to meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures to maintain and strengthen customer relationships.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments related to AI in banking and insurance.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs focusing on AI in the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of AI regulations and best practices in the banking and insurance industry.
- Proven experience collaborating with engineering and data science teams on AI initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating technical aspects of AI systems and translating regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex regulatory and technical concepts to customers.
- Ability to lead compliance initiatives in a dynamic environment while strengthening customer relationships.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their operationalization.
- Very good English and German language skills, both orally and in writing.
- You set realistic deadlines and adhere to them, you are highly organized and understand how to prioritize.
