In this essential position, you will provide strategic technical guidance, directing Essity's AI advancements while creating value and managing associated risks.
As a key figure within our IT Strategy and Business Technology division, you will not only lead AI projects but also engage in wider strategic activities, applying your knowledge across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI Solutions: Innovate methodologies and create comprehensive AI solutions for both routine applications and intricate, value-driven scenarios. Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner closely with business leaders, data scientists, and other AI experts to identify and test AI use cases. Transform business vision into technical solutions: Evaluate the feasibility of use cases and convert business objectives into actionable technical implementations. Align technical solutions with business needs: Gather insights from various stakeholders to ensure alignment with current and future requirements. Select suitable technologies: Conduct research and recommend appropriate technologies for AI projects, utilizing both open-source and commercial options. Review AI tools and practices: Oversee evaluations across data, models, and software engineering practices to uphold quality and compliance. Establish a feedback mechanism: Continuously assess AI services, support model recalibration, and facilitate model retraining.Candidate Profile
As an AI Architect, you possess the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience. Your leadership qualities will foster collaboration and inspire innovation while building trust with senior business leaders and external partners. Your diplomatic skills will nurture strong relationships, and your strategic outlook will shape our AI roadmap.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is advantageous. Extensive experience as an AI Architect or in a comparable role. Profound hands-on knowledge of machine learning models, data analytics, and statistical methods. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and R. Comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain within an international organization. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Ability to convert research and insights into practical outcomes. A purpose-driven individual who will take technical leadership in AI. Inspire teams, communicate a compelling vision, and execute it effectively. Proficient in English.
