Customer Satisfaction and Market Success: Our goal in the Data Analytics Team of strategic marketing is to optimize the shopping experience of our customers using our wealth of data. Tackle strategic marketing challenges with data-driven and innovative analytical solutions, providing tailored recommendations for our customers throughout their lifecycle.
Transforming Analytics into Business Value: You will work closely with marketing colleagues to identify analytical needs and proactively develop actionable recommendations based on data analyses, which you will present and communicate at various management levels.
Driving Innovation: Challenge the status quo by enhancing reporting processes and continuously assessing both the need and potential for automation. Always on the lookout for opportunities, you will implement improved or entirely new analytical methods.
Empowering Colleagues: Collaborate across departments with PENNY's international teams throughout the end-to-end analytics process, promoting self-empowerment through knowledge transfer.

- Your strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with excellent communication abilities—especially with colleagues from non-technical backgrounds—will impress us.
- You possess the capability to quickly grasp new complex business questions and respond with tailored analytical models.
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., in Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, etc.) with a quantitative focus, ideally complemented by at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Your strong programming skills in Python (and/or) R and SQL, along with practical experience, will enhance your profile, as will your familiarity with common data science libraries and tools (e.g., Scikit-learn, Pandas, or NumPy) and professional software development practices, including version control with Git and CI/CD.
- You demonstrate a high level of service and team orientation, enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment, and stay updated on new technologies and developments.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential for effective communication.
