Bei PENNY International arbeiten wir daran, das Einkaufserlebnis unserer Kunden in Europa zu verbessern. Unser Team in Köln ist Teil der REWE Group und besteht aus rund 100 engagierten Mitarbeitern.
Wir setzen auf Daten, um das Einkaufserlebnis unserer Kunden zu optimieren. Im Data Analytics Team des strategischen Marketings beantworten wir Herausforderungen im Marketing mit innovativen analytischen Lösungen, die von maßgeschneiderten Empfehlungen bis hin zur Analyse des gesamten Lebenszyklus reichen.

Wertschöpfung durch Daten: In der Rolle des Data Analysts führst du spannende Advanced Analytics-Projekte in den PENNY Landesgesellschaften durch, um Entscheidungsprozesse nachhaltig zu optimieren und Geschäftspotenziale zu erschließen.
Analytics in die Praxis umsetzen: Du arbeitest eng mit den Marketingkollegen zusammen, identifizierst analytische Bedarfe und entwickelst proaktive Handlungsempfehlungen auf Basis von Datenauswertungen, die du auf verschiedenen Management-Ebenen präsentierst.
Innovation fördern: Du hinterfragst bestehende Prozesse, entwickelst Reportings weiter und prüfst kontinuierlich die Möglichkeiten zur Automatisierung. Dabei suchst du nach Potenzialen, um neue Analyseverfahren zu implementieren.
Teamarbeit und Wissensaustausch: Du arbeitest interdisziplinär mit den PENNY Landesgesellschaften am End-to-End Analytics-Prozess und förderst die Selbstbefähigung durch Know-How-Transfers.
Dein Profil:
- Du verfügst über ein sehr gutes analytisches und konzeptionelles Denkvermögen sowie ausgeprägte kommunikative Fähigkeiten, insbesondere im Austausch mit fachfremden Kollegen.
- Du hast die Fähigkeit, neue herausfordernde Geschäftsfragen schnell zu erfassen und mit passenden analytischen Modellen flexibel zu beantworten.
- Ein abgeschlossenes Bachelor- oder Masterstudium in einem quantitativen Bereich (z. B. Informatik, Mathematik, Naturwissenschaften, Wirtschaftswissenschaften) sowie mindestens 4 Jahre Erfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position.
- Deine starken Programmierkenntnisse in Python (und/oder) R und SQL sowie Erfahrungen mit gängigen Data-Science-Libraries & Tools (z. B. Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy) und professioneller Softwareentwicklung, einschließlich Versionskontrolle durch Git und CI/CD.
- Du bist teamorientiert, arbeitest gerne in einem agilen Umfeld und hältst dich über neue Technologien und Entwicklungen auf dem Laufenden.
- Verhandlungssichere Kommunikation in Deutsch und Englisch ist erforderlich.
