Position Overview:

GreenHarbour is seeking a dedicated Project Development Manager with a strong background in land development, regulatory frameworks, and grid management for innovative battery storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of project sites considering regional planning, environmental conservation, agricultural needs, and EEG regulations.
  • Facilitate the interconnection process for renewable energy initiatives.
  • Engage with land development stakeholders to secure land and maintain productive relationships.
  • Oversee and manage permitting processes, ensuring the acquisition of necessary construction permits.
  • Assist in Board reporting by tracking project progress through various phases.
  • Maintain effective communication with planning authorities, project collaborators, and Distribution System Operators (DSOs).
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the execution of projects.
  • Represent the company at industry fairs and events, including delivering presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 years of experience in obtaining construction rights and establishing grid connections.
  • Proven track record in renewable energy projects, land acquisition, and project execution.
  • Experience collaborating with DSOs, local government entities, landowners, and development partners.
  • Familiarity with construction laws and electrical connection standards.
  • Fluency in business-level English; GERMAN IS ESSENTIAL.
