About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Facilities Operations Leader to join our team at Delivery Hero. As a key member of our Workplace Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our corporate office space in Berlin.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of hard and soft services, including facilities operations, project management, and customer relationship management.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve facilities operations, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience.
Lead a team of facilities professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, IT, and vendor partners, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Manage contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery and cost savings.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of facilities staff.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure facilities operations are running smoothly and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
5+ years of direct facilities management experience delivering combined hard and soft services.
Experience managing a team and people management skills.
Knowledge of in-country requirements related to building regulations, local occupational health & safety, and statutory regulations.
Experience in project management and budgeting.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft or Google Suite, and experience with JIRA, SAP Ariba, and Smartsheet.
Adaptability to work requests and projects that may vary from day to day.
