Project Manager for Environmental Remediation and Site Rehabilitation

Your Key Responsibilities
- Designing and overseeing demolition, renovation, and refurbishment projects.
- Conducting thorough assessments and investigations of hazardous materials in various structures.
- Managing remediation efforts for contaminated sites and groundwater.
- Drafting comprehensive studies, specifications, and financial estimates.
- Creating risk assessments, operational guidelines, and detailed documentation.
- Preparing project proposals, managing budgets, and drafting resolutions.
- Acting as the client liaison, overseeing construction management and site operations.
- Facilitating communication with clients, regulatory bodies, and planning collaborators.
- Ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards in project management.
Your Qualifications
- A completed degree in natural sciences or engineering (Diploma / Bachelor / Master) with a focus on geology, civil/environmental/chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a strong background in the technical, organizational, and economic aspects of decommissioning and remediation projects in the industrial sector, including project planning and management.
- A strong sense of responsibility, along with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as TRGS 519, 521, and DGUV R101-004.
- HSSE certifications: SCC, Nebosh, SiGeKo.
- Proficient understanding of electronic waste management procedures (eANV).
- Health and safety certifications G1.2, G26, G41, and suitability for working at heights.
