Position Overview

The Operations and Risk division at Statkraft serves as the central hub for all operational support related to Trading and Origination activities, as well as Asset Management across Europe and the US. This department is tasked with overseeing all operational processes within the Back Office for both regions, alongside Risk Management, New Product Development, and Investment Support, as well as the Digitalization Office that underpins our Trading and Origination efforts.

The Digitalization Office aims to enhance value for Statkraft T&O by delivering cutting-edge digital solutions to various departments including MT (Trading), MO (Origination), MR (Operations & Risk), and MF (Finance), ensuring a strategic and professional interface with IT. Our digital solutions encompass systems, tools, and data governance.

Within our Global Customer Platform team (MRDC), we are seeking a Functional Architect to oversee our CRM solutions. This team is responsible for managing customer-centric solutions in the Continental and UK markets, as well as globally. Currently composed of 12 professionals, the team is set to expand to accommodate a broader range of solutions in the future.

The unit collaborates closely with Trading & Origination, Operations & Risk, and Finance departments, acting as a vital strategic partner to the IT department.

We are in search of a Functional Architect who can spearhead the continuous enhancement of processes and tools in close partnership with our internal stakeholders across Origination, Operations, Risk, internal IT, and external vendors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with business units to comprehend their processes and requirements; designing solution concepts and implementing changes and new features within agreed timelines.
  • Leading CRM process and system implementations from conception to deployment, serving as both solution designer and implementer.
  • Collaborating closely with the CRM Product Owner as part of the Development Team for our internal customers.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for CRM systems and processes.
  • Operating within an agile environment and addressing ad-hoc requests while providing first-level support as needed.
Qualifications
  • A relevant university degree, preferably a master's in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in Sales and Operations within the Energy sector and familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Strong skills in process design, automation, and technical capabilities to facilitate lean and automated process solutions.
  • Agile/scrum experience or certification is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Python and/or APEX programming is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and effectively influence decisions and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success in a results-driven, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
