The Drivery is a global network dedicated to mobility innovation, connecting over 1,000 members and 150 startups shaping the future of transportation. Our unique blend of coworking spaces, maker labs, state-of-the-art infrastructure (including an AI development GPU farm), and expansive event areas fosters a dynamic environment for groundbreaking ideas.

We're expanding our reach across Europe and Asia, with headquarters in Berlin.

Your Role: Event & Community Architect

Events are at the heart of The Drivery's mission, serving to connect, educate, and inspire our members while driving the success of our mobility ecosystem. From conferences and hackathons to trade shows, we curate a diverse range of live experiences.

As an Event & Community Strategist, you'll leverage your expertise in event planning and execution to create impactful gatherings that foster collaboration and innovation within our vibrant community.

  • Develop and Execute Event Strategies: Craft comprehensive event plans encompassing budgeting, logistics, marketing, and post-event analysis for both in-person and hybrid events.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Secure sponsorships, partnerships, and client relationships to generate revenue streams for our events program.
  • Manage Event Logistics: Oversee vendor selection, venue coordination, registration processes, and on-site event management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Cultivate a Thriving Community: Build and nurture a global network of tech-savvy entrepreneurs through engaging events, networking opportunities, and member engagement initiatives such as pitch competitions, summer gatherings, and our annual Marketplace showcase.
  • Represent The Drivery: Attend industry conferences and events to promote The Drivery's mission, generate leads, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct Market Research: Stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities within the mobility sector to inform event programming and business development strategies.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in event management (1-3 years) within a relevant industry, such as technology, startups, or associations.
  • A genuine passion for events, community building, and the dynamic Berlin startup ecosystem.
  • Strong negotiation, partnership development, and client relationship management skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approach to event execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in German and English is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A 'digital native' with a strong affinity for digital tools and processes.
