Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Montreal. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the off-grid power solutions market.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, delivering presentations, and creating new sales opportunities through prospecting calls. Additionally, you will research and build relationships with new clients, provide detailed sales reports using CRM tools, and drive growth to meet or exceed yearly booking targets.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively pursue applicable off-grid power applications and opportunities within various industries, primarily focused on government entities.
- Develop sales strategies and deliver presentations to clients.
- Create new sales opportunities through prospecting calls.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Provide detailed sales reports using CRM tools on customer projects and opportunities.
- Drive growth to meet or exceed yearly booking targets.
- Bilingual (French/English) is a requirement.
- Business or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Technology Certification.
- 5 plus years of related industry experience.
- Valid driver's license, as frequent travel is required.
- Network within government organizations.
- Understanding of public tendering processes.
- Experience in the security/surveillance, telecommunication, or mining segment (Northern Quebec) is an asset.
- Self-starter, with experience working in a remote position.
- Excellent salary and commission-based programs.
