SAP Solution Architect for Sales and Project Systems

Are you a seasoned SAP professional eager to influence the evolution of our SAP framework? We are looking for a knowledgeable SAP Solution Architect specializing in Sales and Project Systems. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and execution of comprehensive solutions utilizing S/4HANA. Your expertise will be crucial in achieving project objectives and delivering successful releases within the SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities: Take charge of collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities, and craft solutions through detailed solution design documentation. Uphold SAP clean core principles, consider end-to-end process perspectives, and evaluate potential technical implications such as technical debt. Oversee, coordinate, and communicate the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and alignment with respective architects and developers. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the entire solution lifecycle. Promote the adoption of best practices, standards, and methodologies associated with SAP S/4HANA or integrated solutions based on new functionalities from the software provider. Independently stay informed about the latest SAP developments and best practices. Assess new functionalities to minimize custom developments and maximize the use of standard functionalities within our transformation initiatives. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business informatics, or business economics. Extensive experience in SAP solution architecture, particularly in project implementation, is highly valued. Ability to bridge business process language with IT terminology, showcasing your expertise in the field. Strong knowledge of the Lead-to-Cash process across sales and project systems enhances your candidacy. Experience with Sales and Distribution, Project System, and respective value flows in SAP S/4HANA, including FIORI and integration with MDG and GTS. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are essential for navigating complex challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and conveying intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with international agile teams and managing large-scale projects using SAFe methodology is an advantage. Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is a plus.
