About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Architect to join our team at T-Systems International GmbH. As an IT Architect, you will play a key role in the digitalization of public administration, working on a variety of software development, integration, migration, and implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement IT architectures and software designs for public sector projects.
  • Define and enforce architecture and development guidelines, as well as coordinate the implementation of non-functional quality requirements for critical business applications.
  • Review technical fine-grained concepts, software designs, and source codes.
  • Support pre-sales activities with architecture expertise and implementation competence as a Solution Designer.

Requirements

  • A successful MINT degree with a focus on IT or a comparable vocational training with extensive professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of project and professional experience in IT projects, e.g., as an IT Architect, Solution Architect, or Software Developer in software development projects in the public sector at the federal or state level.
  • Practical experience with modern software architectures, UML, or comparable modeling languages, requirements engineering, quality management, and classical and agile software development.
  • Fundamental knowledge and first certifications in ISAQB or TOGAF.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java technologies or Microsoft.Net technologies, as well as modern IT technologies such as Low Code, AI, Cloud, Blockchain, Self-Sovereign Identity, etc.
  • Desirable knowledge of the essential legal foundations, standards, and methods of public administration (e.g., V-Model XT, SAGA, XÖV, BSI Basic Protection, Data Protection, FIM).
  • Desirable knowledge of current digitalization trends in public administration.
  • Excellent German language skills at a native level and very good English language skills.
