Student Assistant in Sustainability / ESG (w/m/d)

As a Student Assistant in the field of Sustainability / ESG, you will play a vital role in the development of leading solutions addressing various sustainability challenges and objectives, while considering key ESG opportunities and risks.

Your Responsibilities
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to its advancement? Join us as a Student Assistant and engage in the following activities:

  • Support consulting projects across diverse areas, including the EU Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance, regulatory frameworks, digital assets, climate issues, and human rights.
  • Assist in identifying ESG opportunities and risks within transactions or sustainability strategies, focusing on achieving long-term corporate goals and value creation.
  • Collaborate with your team to analyze overarching organizational structures, sustainability KPIs and objectives, non-financial reporting, and implications arising from emerging legal requirements.
  • Contribute to the transformation of processes and adjustments in governance to integrate strategies throughout the organization, while aiding in the establishment of sustainable reporting practices.
  • Participate in consulting project tasks and facilitate communication with our clients.
Your Profile
  • To qualify for a Student Assistant position in Sustainability / ESG, you should be pursuing a degree in business administration, engineering, social sciences, or natural sciences, ideally with a focus on sustainability, sustainable finance, climate, circular economy, or human rights, and have completed at least three semesters of study.
  • Practical experience in sustainability through internships or previous student assistant roles is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of common standards and requirements (e.g., GRI standards, TCFD, CSR guidelines, UN Guiding Principles on Human Rights, or EU Taxonomy) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel) is expected.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required.
