Student Assistant in IT Strategy / IT Architecture (m/f/d)

As a Student Assistant (m/f/d) in the field of IT Strategy / IT Architecture, you will have the opportunity to actively shape the dynamic and diverse daily operations while demonstrating your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. Contribute your unique skills, qualities, and ideas in analyzing IT architectures and system landscapes, as well as in developing strategic, comprehensive IT solutions for our clients, gaining valuable practical experience for your professional future.

Your Responsibilities
Are you passionate about digitalization and new technologies and eager to influence the development of innovative IT solutions? Join us as a Student Assistant and engage for at least 5 months for 3 - 19.5 hours per week, and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks:

  • As a member of our team, you will be actively involved in the ongoing assessment of the current architecture, keeping yourself informed about technological advancements and evaluating their applicability in terms of digitalization and standardization.
  • You will assist your team in advising our clients on critical IT issues, such as the selection and implementation of cloud, big data, and advanced analytics solutions, as well as artificial intelligence and robotics, allowing you to grow both personally and professionally.
  • Additionally, we will rely on your contribution to developing strategic roadmaps for the digital transformation of organizations, processes, and technologies.
  • By supporting the modeling and analysis of business and IT processes, you will learn how direct collaboration with clients leads to coherent results and actionable recommendations.
  • Gradually, you will acquire the necessary expertise to assist in the proposal preparation for client projects.
Your Profile

What We Are Looking For:

  • You should be a Student Assistant (m/f/d) in the field of IT Strategy / IT Architecture with at least three completed semesters in a degree program related to Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Relevant work experience from previous internships is preferred, and ideally, you have focused on one of the following areas in your studies: IT Management, IT Project Management, IT Transformation, etc.
  • Your interest in automation and Infrastructure as Code within the Data Science and Data Analytics environment (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Cluster API, DevOps, GitOps) distinguishes you.
  • Programming skills in a language (Python, Go, JavaScript) are desirable but not mandatory.
  • You possess proficiency in German at C1 level and English at B2 level.
  • A structured way of thinking, the ability to recognize complex interrelations, and a creative approach to problem-solving, along with a high degree of initiative, are essential.
