What Will You Be Doing?As a student assistant, you will engage in the following tasks and areas:
  • Configuration and operation of router and switch components (focus on Cisco, AudioCodes, FibroLAN).
  • Implementation of change measures in customer networks, within the MetroEthernet network and MPLS/IP backbone.
  • Collaboration in the configuration and operation of firewall components (focus on CheckPoint, Cisco).
  • Administration and documentation of established solutions.
  • Operation of the data center switching network (Cisco Nexus).
  • Administrative tasks in the IP domain, such as domain management (membership in Denic, etc.) and IP address management (membership in RIPE).
  • Technical evaluations and laboratory tests.
  • Analysis and success monitoring of implemented individual measures.
What Should You Bring?
  • Enrollment in a relevant field of study (e.g., business administration, telecommunications, or computer science).
  • Basic knowledge of network technology is advantageous.
  • Innovative mindset and commitment.
  • Productive, independent, and structured working style, good self-organization, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Proficient in German and English at C1 level, both spoken and written.
  • Skilled in MS Office applications.
