Sales Manager – Central Region

Location: Remote

We serve clients across multiple industries, such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage production, chemicals, polymers, epoxy resins, adhesives, construction, and textiles.

The Sales Manager is responsible for selling instruments, consumables, disposables, accessories, and services within the Central Region.

The Sales Manager is expected to cultivate effective customer relationships (this is an established territory), identify growth opportunities within the existing client base, enhance market penetration, and meet revenue and profit forecasts.

Success in this role is achieved through various sales-related functions, including selling all assigned product lines, conducting demonstrations, installations when feasible, providing training, generating reports as required, and maintaining and safeguarding demonstration equipment, computers, software, and other company assets.

The Sales Manager for the Central Region presents an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in technical capital equipment sales and value-added selling strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all current and prospective accounts.
  • Achieve and uphold high technical proficiency in all areas related to the assigned product lines.
  • Update the CRM system - Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Follow up on leads.
  • Maintain and safeguard all assigned company property.
  • Travel overnight as required, utilizing air and car transportation.
  • Meet sales goals while ensuring excellent customer relations and reporting to marketing on factors affecting the assigned territory.

Problem-Solving Skills:

The Sales Manager must be capable of making effective and efficient independent decisions in accordance with company policy and protocol to address customer needs and requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in capital equipment or analytical instruments for non-medical applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in German and professional proficiency in English.
  • Able and willing to travel to customer locations throughout the Central Region.
