Position Overview

The Digital Literacy Program is seeking a dedicated Program Assistant to enhance our team.

Capacity: 10 hours/week
Schedule: Flexible weekdays and Saturdays
Contract: Mini-job, temporary (5 months)

Role Objectives

Work closely with the Digital Literacy Program team to ensure effective planning, coordination, and development of initiatives aimed at supporting career services and mentorship activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of career services and mentorship initiatives.
  • Translate documents from English to German.
  • Review and edit English-to-German translations for accuracy.
  • Provide tutoring in computer skills at the German B1/2 proficiency level.
  • Support various program tasks and activities aligned with the program's objectives and significant events.
Candidate Profile
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
  • Well-organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Committed to community development and social impact, particularly in the realm of digital inclusion.
  • Empathetic and capable of engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Google Workspace.
