The Senior Security Expert within the ZEISS Security Engineer Program Office plays a crucial role in coordinating, facilitating, and organizing all initiatives within the program.
This role involves supporting the formation of Security Engineer working groups and ensuring their effective operation and deliverables.
The individual will be responsible for documenting, maintaining, and updating vital information or decisions related to the Programs, including the SecEng directory, training provider directory, and annual certification follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan, execute, and monitor the project portfolio to enhance the ZEISS Security Engineer (ZSE) program, its community, and engaged employees.
- Develop a reporting and governance framework to strategically oversee the ZSE project portfolio.
- Conduct onboarding for new members and provide tailored support for active ZSEs to ensure personalized learning experiences aligned with business needs.
- Translate general administrative topics into specific projects, such as the ZSE onboarding concept, to improve program efficiency and user experience.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement quick automation solutions using MS Power Automate or other rapid RPA tools, including automated communications to the program office and HR.
- Facilitate community structures to enhance knowledge sharing and team cohesion among InfoSec groups while addressing ZEISS business requirements.
- Organize and lead internal team-building events, award ceremonies, and conferences to foster a robust ZSE community, including secure coding events and hackathons.
- Continuously assess trends and domains in Information Security, evaluating their relevance and impact on ZEISS and the ZSE program, including areas like AI, ransomware, social engineering, and NIS2.
- Lead initiatives to enhance InfoSec educational programs, ensuring the quality and relevance of content, such as Information Security fundamentals and domain-specific knowledge.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in solution development and operations, with roles such as Agile Coach, Product Owner, or Project Manager.
General proficiency in Information Security.
Strong understanding of industry security standards and technologies, including ISO27002.
Fluent in English and German, with additional languages being advantageous.
Experience in leading initiatives and activities, leveraging global teams with matrix resources.
