Position Overview:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role within the Field Sales team, responsible for generating qualified sales leads through responding to marketing-driven inquiries, inbound interests, and targeted outbound outreach. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, SDRs develop strategic prospecting plans aimed at identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships. Additionally, SDRs handle smaller transactions and renewals within their designated regions.

A strong understanding of business dynamics and the ability to swiftly evaluate and comprehend a prospect or client's operational landscape and requirements is vital for success in this position. Ideal candidates will possess the skills to engage effectively and build rapport with executives and business professionals.

Key Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales or business development Expertise in consultative and solution-based selling Experience in nurturing and qualifying marketing leads Proven track record of managing a substantial territory, handling a high volume of leads, and fostering relationships Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation abilities Experience in account mapping and developing effective prospecting strategies Capable of making 50+ calls daily with enthusiasm Organized yet adaptable, self-motivated; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Resilient; adept at overcoming objections and rejection Thrives in a competitive team atmosphere Quick to adapt and ready to contribute from day one

Preferred Qualifications:

A college degree is preferred Experience in prospecting and selling enterprise software solutions, particularly in Business Intelligence or Analytics This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to advance to a full quota-carrying sales position within a leading strategic analytics firm.
