We, the BMW Group, offer a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in our production department with a focus on innovation and digitalization. Our team is responsible for implementing and steering innovation and digitalization projects in the technologies of press, body, and paint shop, and making a continuous contribution to the digitalization ramp-up at the BMW Munich plant.

What can you expect?

  • You will actively participate in our innovation and digitalization projects.
  • You will be part of an interdisciplinary team and support us in technology-independent digitalization and innovation management.
  • You will be responsible for implementing pilot projects in the area of digitalization and data analytics.
  • You will support the development of smartphone applications and dashboards based on low-code/no-code development environments.

What do you bring?

  • Studies in computer science, engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Desirable first practical experience with relevant BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight).
  • Programming knowledge is an asset.
  • Analytical thinking and structured work approach.
  • Team and communication skills.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.
