Senior Financial Controller with Digitalization Focus

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller with a focus on digitalization to join our Finance & Controlling team at Giesecke+Devrient. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving financial process automation and reporting through the use of modern applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement financial process automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and control financial performance across various segments and subsidiaries.
  • Conduct process analyses and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance the overall value chain.
  • Prepare and present financial analyses and ad-hoc reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain risk reporting, including risk analysis and evaluation.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a consulting firm or industry company with international operations and project business.
  • Proficient in management information systems (MIS), such as SAP BPC, CO, and similar applications.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in risk management and reporting.
  • Knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS, as well as tax expertise.
  • Experience working in international, decentralized teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, initiative, and high sense of responsibility.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
