Job Title: Director of Nursing in Home Intensive Care

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality care strategies to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
  • Comply with industry standards and guidelines for home ventilation, including S2 guidelines
  • Manage occupancy and admissions for intensive care units, ensuring efficient resource allocation
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development
  • Organize regular meetings with customers and teams to foster open communication and collaboration
  • Design and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and productivity

Requirements:

  • Completed 3-year nursing degree from an accredited institution
  • Proven experience and leadership in home intensive care, with a strong track record of success
  • Qualification as a respiratory care expert is highly desirable
  • Additional certifications in respiratory therapy and nursing leadership are preferred
  • Knowledge of medical treatment prescriptions and protocols
  • Ability to travel and valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
