Job Overview

Are you a seasoned leader eager to spearhead a channel team and shape the future of E-Commerce B2B Sales for the LEGO Group?

We seek a dynamic individual with enthusiasm and determination, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a clear vision to influence the sales strategy in the D-A-CH region and beyond. You will play a pivotal role within the Europe Central (EUC) Leadership Team and the Sales Leadership Team, responsible for establishing and nurturing partnerships to generate mutual value and foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically advance the LEGO brand within the E-Commerce sector, ensuring sustainable growth and success with key strategic clients.
  • Formulate and execute the sales strategy for E-Commerce, ensuring alignment with sales and profitability targets.
  • Contribute channel insights to the Business Unit's annual planning and channel strategy formulation.
  • Lead, empower, and mentor a team of 13 professionals across various levels and responsibilities.
  • Enhance the overall skills and competencies within the E-Commerce sales function, driving innovation by identifying transformative trends and collaborating with partners to effect change in the retail environment.
  • Cultivate customer value propositions, engage with key clients, and foster high-quality relationships.
  • Oversee strategic joint business initiatives with clients, crafting annual business plans and managing negotiations and adjustments throughout the year.
  • Facilitate integration among key e-retailers, partners, and internal stakeholders to promote effective collaboration.

Your Contribution to Our Success

We aim to deliver exceptional digital shopping experiences (online & mobile / E-Commerce) for LEGO product consumers on third-party platforms and marketplaces, ensuring our products are accessible to shoppers when and where they prefer. This role is crucial in providing outstanding online, mobile, and omni-channel experiences aligned with the LEGO digital strategy by collaborating directly with our retail partners and technology solution providers.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in commercial roles, including E-Commerce Retail.
  • Background in Digital Marketing and/or technology/digital agency environments.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and talent development, with a focus on digital proficiency.
  • Extensive experience in commercial planning, value-based selling, and joint business planning.
  • Demonstrated success in partner and project management within international organizations.
  • Familiarity with E-Commerce platforms and marketplaces, along with experience in implementing technology solutions.
  • Experience in P&L management and demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English and German.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with technology, ad tech, or agency providers to optimize business processes.
  • Knowledge of social and voice commerce.
  • Practical experience in agile development methodologies.
