Job Overview
Are you a seasoned leader eager to spearhead a channel team and shape the future of E-Commerce B2B Sales for the LEGO Group?
We seek a dynamic individual with passion and determination, exceptional leadership abilities, and a clear vision to influence the sales strategy in the D-A-CH region and beyond. You will play a vital role within the Europe Central (EUC) Leadership Team and the Sales Leadership Team, responsible for fostering partnerships and creating mutual value to drive business expansion.
Please note: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically advance the LEGO brand within the E-Commerce sector, ensuring sustainable growth with key strategic partners.
- Formulate and execute the sales strategy for E-Commerce, ensuring alignment with sales and profitability targets.
- Contribute channel insights to the Business Unit's annual planning and channel strategy formulation.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 13 professionals across various levels of expertise and responsibilities.
- Enhance the overall skill set and professional capabilities within the E-Commerce sales function while driving innovation by identifying transformative trends and collaborating with partners to influence change in the retail environment.
- Cultivate customer value propositions, engage with significant clients, and foster high-quality relationships.
- Oversee strategic joint business initiatives with clients, crafting annual business plans and managing ongoing negotiations and adjustments.
- Facilitate integration among key e-retailers, partners, and internal stakeholders to promote effective collaboration.
Your Contribution to Team Success
We aim to deliver exceptional digital shopping experiences (online & mobile / E-Commerce) for LEGO product consumers on third-party platforms and marketplaces, ensuring products are accessible to shoppers when and where they desire. This role is crucial in providing outstanding online, mobile, and omni-channel experiences in line with the LEGO digital strategy, collaborating directly with retail partners and technology solution providers.
Do You Possess the Following Qualifications?
- Several years of experience in commercial roles, including experience in E-Commerce Retail.
- Background in Digital Marketing and/or technology/digital agency.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing talent and digital proficiency.
- Extensive experience in commercial planning, value-based selling, and joint business planning.
- Demonstrated success in partner management and project management within global organizations.
- Familiarity with E-Commerce platforms and marketplaces, along with experience in implementing technology solutions.
- Experience in P&L management and strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in English and German.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with technology, ad tech, or agency providers to optimize business processes.
- Knowledge of social and voice commerce.
- Practical experience in agile development methodologies.
