Satellite Ground Systems Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Ground Systems Engineer to join our Satellite Ground Systems department in Bremen. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing customer requirements and deriving technical specifications for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems.
Your Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer requirements and derive technical specifications for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Develop and maintain technical specifications and requirements for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Conduct design, development, integration, and testing activities for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Develop and maintain design and interface documentation for satellite ground systems and IT subsystems
- Conduct system development through code reviews, testing, configuration management, and monitoring
- Work on the overall system level and conduct the ground segment integration
- Support project planning and reporting on progress
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in Requirements Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant Requirements Engineering tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to quickly adapt to new tasks
- Flexibility, self-motivation, and effective work habits
- Responsibility and teamwork
- Excellent German language skills
- Fluent English language skills
